Who We Are

Meet Carsten Fisher, the driving force behind In Your Peace. Carsten’s mission of personal transformation and community actualization is inspired by his study of Eastern and Western mysticism, Buddhist philosophies, critical theory, and harm reduction. Carsten is a seasoned behaviorist with a profound dedication to holistic well-being and the journey of personal transformation. Most recently, he served as a Supervisor for the Fireside Project’s Psychedelic Peer Support Hotline, Clinical Supervisor at the Carl B Metoyer Center for Family Counseling, Behavioral Specialist at the Behavioral Wellness Clinic, Content Expert for Ohio State’s Center for Psychedelic Drug and Research Education Team, Home Group Facilitator for the Integrative Psychiatry Institute’s Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Training Program, and Educational Architect for Oakland Hyphae.

Carsten's commitment is deeply rooted in serving Black & non-Black persons of color, as well as LGBTQIA+ communities, where accessibility, equity, and community-centered harm reduction take center stage.

At the heart of our mission are the pillars of Right Attitude, Communal Transformation, and Service-First. Drawing from the teachings of Rev angel Kyodo Williams and Dogen Zenji’s seminal work, the Fukenzazengi, these pillars represent how Carsten shows up in service. Our belief is that every individual's journey toward healing, growth, and self-discovery deserves the utmost care and respect. Carsten's unwavering dedication to these principles defines our commitment to making a difference in the lives of those we serve.
